It has come to my attention that the Wednesday before Spring Carnival is an unpopular time to hold an exam.
It seems that it may be possible to move the exam to the preceeding Friday (Friday, April 13). Unfortunatly, there is nothing to be done about the whole 7:30 in the morning business. Unless I hear strong complaints about this change over the next few days, I will move the exam.
UPDATE: I will move Exam #3 to Friday, April 13.

I'm pretty sure the date and day for the final don't match up...
Is it not possible to put it in the evening? I've had evening exams in other classes, and I'm sure many people would prefer a 630 PM exam to a 730 AM exam. I can't imagine that all of the big lecture halls are reserved all of the evenings the week before/monday of carnival week
Actually 6:30 pm on Friday would be worse then 7:30 am on Wednesday because it's move on. Other then that, I'm not opposed to a different evening.
Please, do move exam #3 off Wednesday!
friday evening (or saturday or sunday) isn't allowed by CMU anyway
I don't really understand why the exam has to be at 7:30 instead of during normal lecture. Are all of our exams at 7:30, or just one?
anonymous at 12:33,
Our classrooms are too crowded to hold an exam in. That is why all our exams will be held in UC McConomy. For exams #1 and #2, I was able to book McConomy during our regular class times. During weeks 12, 13 and 14 it was all booked up at those hours. Evening exams are problematic, as they conflict with labs and other scheduled activities. Hence, 7:30am
moving the exam to after carnival time would be much appreciated...working on Booth for carnival is very time consuming and would be very hard to focus on studying for the exam if it is the wednesday prior to carnival...
I am willing to take an exam 7:30 on Friday morning just as long it's not moved to the evening. If that's the only time we can do it, then we have no other choice really.
Oh, and also, the day before carnival is a bad day -_____-;; Just coming from a person who does booth, I would like to spend as much time on booth as I possibly can.
